Nothing pleases Jon more than a good old-fashioned sparkler. I mean who really needs a professional fireworks show when you can just have your boyfriend run around someone else's yard with a single sparkler in hand? Here's hoping everyone out there got a chance to look this excited while celebrating America!
Just like the sign says below, I'll be taking the next couple days off to play at bbq's, attend a beer festival with friends, and watch Jon play a show.
So I'm not a big fan of beer (bloaty!), but I mostly go for the people watching which is like beer olympics as people get progressively drunker off little sample glasses of hoity toity beer. Beer is the new wine..blah blah.
In between all this fun, I hope to create more new prints for the shop and have some nice summery pictures to share here later. Hope everyone has a chance to eat lots of meaty bbq and perhaps twirl some sparklers around. America!
And then we spent the weekend with friends to watch the gay festivities take over downtown Seattle. The local paper reported a good 400,000 people attending the parade and it sure felt like it by the time we made it over to the beer garden. Lots of fun!
It was a great weekend for spending the day laying around at the park.
It's gay pride weekend in our little neck of the woods so I'm sure our neighborhood will have lots of activity going and that's a good thing! Woke up this morning and the sun was out, the sky was blue...It's going to be a great weekend! Wishing everyone lots of merriment and rejoicing....
The Daily Max is off to Portland, OR for the weekend for a quick little impromptu getaway in the hopes that we will come back feeling refreshed and maybe even a little sassier. In other words, we got a hotel dirt cheap downtown with some friends and we're going to party like it's 4th of July. Priceline baby. Have a great weekend everyone!
