Funky NY style...yes, no!
Last seen and heard in a Nordstrom's dressing room while trying on jeans. Cringe!

Last night we hosted our usual Project Runway party. Wine, snacks, judging, the usual. Last night wasn't a huge surprise and I had been expecting the judges to pick Christian as the winner since almost day one. Mostly because you can't deny all that talent in his teeny little 20-something body. BUT, I've also been a huge fan of Ms. Jillian because she consistently turns out beautiful clothes that real women can wear and want to wear. I took a small little poll at work amongst my lady co-workers. These were some of my absolute favorites below.
Did anyone notice that the lucky girl wearing the cute dress in the bottom left hand corner is Jasleen from America's Next Top Model? Another favorite of mine from ANTM...I really hope she never loses that accent. Anyway, back to Jillian and how amazing her collection was. I felt for her when she got dismissed first over Rami! In my eyes, he has been so guilty of using the draping method more than the Palace of Versailles itself. I was quite ready to see him and his International Male shirts off the show once and for all. I'm sorry, but I don't want to look like the Statue of Liberty sans torch in every color imaginable. I want to look cute and stylish and this does not include draping!
As a matter of fact, I want to be the girl in the last photo with fabulous flowy pants and a cocktail in one hand. IF I smoked, I would also be holding a very long cigarette holder with a fragrant cigarette to match. But that's just me.
My favorite radio program is coming to television. I'm not sure how I feel about them converting Ira Glass over to TV, but by the looks of this animated episode by Chris Ware, so far so good. View the video here. Via Boing Boing.
