The red carpet

The best part about last night's Emmy awards?  Christina Hendricks coming out looking gorgeous and causing Jon to momentarily care about the red carpet.  The end.  She killed it, shut it down, etc. 

So did her show which was the first cable show to win for best drama.  All is forgiven for not giving us a new episode of Mad Men last night. 

The perfect iPod Touch case?

We surrendered to the iPod Touch tonight.  Exciting!  The selling factor for me was the WiFi access, but I really got excited over the new speaker option.  It's not the best quality, but it makes me happy that I can carry it around like a portable radio. The old school side of me rejoices!

So now I'm on the hunt for the perfect case so that I can take my new expensive device out of it's current carrying case - a sock.  Don't worry, it's clean.

Here are my two choices after doing lots of research.

I have a case similar to this one for my iPod Nano which is still in great condition.  This one's from Proporta and I like the flip up style.

But I'm leaning more towards the Belkin case.  The leather details and the rounded corners on the case appeal to my design side.  I just wish it came in more color options.  Picky, picky, right?

Frumpy, meet dumpy

I feel like I'm having a Heidi Klum moment.  I don't get it.  This skirt looks crooked and this brown color is really quite sad on her.

More sadness.  I cringe for her.  Also, why did the designers feel that they needed to put them in some type of suit-like skirt ensemble for an interview?  Especially the creatives?  Was it because the moms were there?  My feminist side is about to explode.

However, we do have next week to look forward to where it seems that Kenley manages to insult LL Cool J and his hip hop ways, gets lectured by Nina Garrrrrcia, and even makes the following statement on television:  What does Tim Gunn know?  GASP!  Sacrilege!  10 lashings and a mouthful of Dove soap stat!
