So this song rotated in during my shuffle songs time.  What?  You don't have Wham! on your iPod!?!  For shame.

This video is so Beijing Olympics all over again.  You know they've been training since the creation of this video, right?  1984.  No wonder they won so many damn gold medals.  Feliz weekend!

Would you ever have guessed that this amazing necklace once belonged to Slick Rick?  Me neither.

It's really the only reason I can think of why they would have sent Stella home.  Oh Stella...we only got to know thee for a few fleeting precious moments via Bravo television.  I mean has anyone really studied this awesome press photo of her?  She manages to look deadpan tough in four inch platform stilettos with spikes coming out of her sleeves!?!  I think that deserves some type of prize.  

Moving on...I certainly don't think Stella's outfit was the absolute worst last night and I'm still not quite sure why the judges chose her over Joe's much more obvious missed attempt at trying to integrate his design within the DVF Fall Collection.  It's almost as if he didn't even bother to take a peek at the lookbook provided.

That being said, I have to say I don't quite like the winning look either.  As a matter of fact, all the looks last night were quite boring (some downright silly) and just didn't look up to par for a DVF piece.  

So I choose...

Kenley's dress that she wore during the runway show and judging session.  Purple feathers for shoulders and freshly cut bangs?  I still say she deserves to show at Bryant Park.  it's just too bad she froze and had a major freakout at the opportunity to design for a legendary fashion designer.  All her design needed was a black coat or belted cardigan to complete her Shanghai-inspired look and it would have been gold. 

But of course, it is and was the legendary Diane von Furstenberg and you know they definitely were not going to go anywhere near a design resembling a wrap dress even if their young fashion lives depended on it.

The new fall Anthropologie catalog dropped in our mailbox last night and it's pure eye candy for their new fall coats and jackets.  But that's pretty normal for them, right?

This one is at the top of my list and with a name like Camera Club Capelet, how could anyone resist?  Okay maybe you could with the price, but it's a worthy classic investment.

This one reminds me of a cute little jacket that Peggy Olson might wear on a picnic.  It's called the Portraitist Bomber.  So very J. Peterman with their names.  I love it!

This one is totally hot, yet perfectly tailored at the same time.  I'm dying to see what this looks like in person and how it would fit.  This lovely is entitled the Dressage Jacket. 

If only they could get Betty Draper to wear this.  She might just throw down her apron and spatula, smack Don Draper in the face, mess up his hair, steal his cigarettes, then go riding off into the sunset on her brilliant white horse all while keeping her hair perfectly intact. 

It could happen!  I think I've been watching too much Mad Men.
